We joined the little gym and Maya had her first introductory class on Saturday. She was a little timid at first but that is how she does things. She likes to observe instead of jumping right in. I think that is probably how she will always be and I think that is pretty neat. She really thinks things through before acting on them.
Anyways here are a few pictures from her first class......
Her favorite part of the whole class was playing with the balls and the bubbles. Towards the end she started to get comfortable with the mats and allowed me to help her do a "proper" somersault. At the end of the 5 month session all the kids put on a "show" for all of the adults to come and watch all of the skills they have learned. I'll keep you posted as to when that will be.
