Happy 2 year to us!

Today we celebrated our 2 year anniversary. Brittany and Michael took Maya for the night and we went out on the town. We got all dressed up and went into Bellevue for appetizers and drinks at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. We had another engagement to go to but I had been sick all week and barely made it through my gin and tonic before we decided to call it a night. We went home and had a nice evening relaxing with each other. We both missed Maya terribly but it was nice to focus just on us and celebrating our 2 year anniversary! I love you baby....here's to us!

Maya's 6 month appointment

Before the shots....
Chubby Baby~20lbs 8oz

Maya had her 6 month appointment today. She weighs 20lbs 8oz and is 28 1/2 inches long. "She is about the size of a 10 month old." ~Dr. Wu. She is meeting all of her milestones such as rolling over, saying a few words (such as dada, baba, and yaya), pushing up into the crawling position and eating solid foods. She was super happy this morning after she woke up and then reality set in when she had to have her shots. She was in good hands today though with Mrs. Paula. I cant believe 6 months has passed since the day I gave birth. Its been a wonderful 6 months, cant wait for the next 6!

A date with the Mima

Pres, Mima, DJ and Maya

All of us at The Beach Cafe

Saturday night we went to dinner with Mima (Maya's great grandma). She took us all out to the Beach Cafe down in Edmonds. It was a warm evening so we were able to take a nice walk along the water while we waited for our table. We all had a great dinner, lovely conversation and a lot of fun. We had Preston that night for a sleep-over and he was a perfect angel the entire time at dinner and so was Maya! It was a really noisy restaurant and she slept the entire time. Maya is so lucky to have her Great Grandmothers in her life. We love them both! Thank you Mima for a unforgettable evening.

Pres and DJ

Tonight we went over to my sister Brittany's house. Her and her husband Michael just bought a new home in Lake Stevens and we were privileged enough to be the first guest invited for dinner. We had a great time and ate some AWESOME food thanks to Brittany and Michael's excellent cooking abilities. Thanks for having us over! Love you!

Megs and Maya

I took Maya to Kelsey's housewarming/Seahawks party on Sunday. We had a lot of fun seeing everyone. We dressed Maya up in her cheerleading outfit from Auntie Britt and Uncle Michael and it was a big hit. Although it didn't help the Hawks win we still were in the team spirit! I think I should send them a picture of Maya for some inspiration. :)

Happy Girls!~
Saturday night Stac and I took Maya over to Lindsey and Jayden's place to have dinner and visit. Jayden is 6 years old and is a little mommy already. She was so good with her, she fed her, burped her, and even shared her toys with her. We had an awesome meal and spent the night chatting and playing with the girls. I cant wait for them to grow up together and be 2nd Generation Cabin Kids together! Thanks for having us all over ladies, awesome dinner and couldn't ask for better company! (Unless of course Marie was there :))

Labor day weekend we headed up to Stacie's cabin at Lake Katchees. It was Maya's first cabin experience and I think she really enjoyed herself! She is officially 2nd Generation cabin kid! It was quite an eventful weekend, she slept great (once we found out that 98.9 classical music came in on the radio), everyone one that was there got to hold her, and she smiled and hung out just like the rest of us. I know I always say this but we are so blessed to have such an easy going child. We are able to take her anywhere and she always adapts to her surroundings perfectly. Thanks to the family for another great cabin filled weekend!
