A Girly Day like no other Girly Day

So Joss had this brilliant idea for us girls to go have a Spa Day. Seriously this place was SO awesome. It is called Habitude and it is in Seattle. When we first arrived we were whisked upstairs to check in and given a short tour. After that we went into the women's locker room and changed in to fancy robes and comfy flip flops. We then went out to the waiting area to have a seat and wait for our masseuse to come and get us. We both enjoyed a 90 minute hot stone massage that was out of this world. The stones were so hot but felt so good on my sore muscles. We got to chose our own scented oils that said something about us. The scent that I chose happened to be called "Expressive"....kind of fits!

After our massage we went into the Sauna for a little while before getting dressed and heading out for some lunch. One of the gals recommended Thaiku that was just a few blocks down. Ok hands best Thai food I have EVER had! Seriously my mouth is watering as I type. After lunch we went back for Ultimate Pedicures and Manicures. Wow were they nice! The paraffin wax on our hands felt amazing and we were so relaxed by this point that we both could have curled up and taken a nap.

What an awesome day with an amazing friend!!!!! Thank you so much Joss. This Spa day will go down in history.

2010 Here we come!

I hope everyone had a wonderful safe New Years! We had an awesome night with wonderful friends! Has anyone made any New Years Resolutions?

Mine are as follows:

• Finally take off the baby weight - Maya is almost 2 years old so I think its time
• Finish my degree and move on to the next - Yes, I have been going to school for forever!
• Be nice to DJ - HA! I'm serious about this one!
• Pray with Maya every night and try my best to be a good example for her
• Kiss, Squeeze and love my baby girl every day.....well I already do this one but I want to make sure I never stop! Even when she is an adult she will always be smothered with her Mama's love.

Serious Diva!

Ok, Auntie Jossie and Romy got Maya a little purse for Christmas that came with sunglasses, make-up, cell phone, car keys, etc. Anyways, this is how Maya has looked ever since! She is such a Diva....I LOVE IT! Oh and the pj's she is wearing I picked out. They came with a red tutu. So adorable. Now she wants to wear the tutu with every outfit she puts on.

Ready, Set..........GO!

At night Romy and Maya can get a little crazy running around the house. It is hilarious because they just run from room to room screaming and having the time of their lives! They have this one spot right in front of me and DJ's bedroom that is usually the starting point for the running. They'll stand side by side and say "ready.........set.........GO! and book into whatever room they feel like running to.
